vertical foliage

Alexander Calder, three dimensional sculpture Vertical foliage was created in 1941.  Calder change modern art by adding his own personal twist with wires to create three-dimensional sculptures. Calder sculpture Vertical Foliage, was made by sheet metal, wire, and paint. Alexander was then influence by making outdoor monumental sculptures in bolted sheet, all around the world. What drove me to chose this specific art work, was the materials that went into making this.
