This is an acrylic painting by the Costa Rican artist named Fabrizio Arrieta and is called Sisi. It was made in 2016. He typically bases his compositions on digital collages he creates using fashion magazine cutouts and he finds imagery within. At first glance, I thought this was actually a collage. It was very unique in that way. It blends abstract and contemporary ideals of beauty together. It like the colors on the nose that blend together and the big lips are a huge trend right now.
