I chose a sunflower painting because I like Sunflowers and it was one of the few I remember from the movie. This was in the scene where Van Gogh decorated the guest room with a bunch of sunflower paintings. Leading up to this, the scene where he gets frustrated and picks the flowers from the garden and brings them back to his house is relatable for a lot of artists. This painting is an oil on canvas done in 1888. I like that each flower is in it's own stage of life; some look more alive than others.
