From the earliest stages of his career, Zeng Fanzhi's paintings have been marked by their emotional directness, the artist's intuitive psychological sense, and his carefully calibrated expressionistic technique.

I found his oil painting to be extremely intriguing. The miss conception between the body and its reflection in the mirror is skewed. the hands in this painting are also not correctly sized to the body.
