Zeng Fanzhi reacted Italian Renaissance Artist Leonardo de Vinci last supper painting. Fanzhi created his last supper in 2001, with oil paint on a canvas. Fanzhi painting presented the Chinese society during the economic reform in the 1990s. The painting was the most representative contemporary work in all Chinese Art. the one thing that caught my eye in this painting was the how unified this painting is, as well taking a modern twist to a historic painting.
