This painting was made using oil paint on a wooden canvas in 1507 by an artist named Raphael. The painting shows Jesus Christ being carried by his disciples, as he is being let down from the cross. This painting is very iconic in Catholic religion. The people carrying Jesus seem very distraught and in mourning because of the fact that he is dead.
